Hey, we're cotton cartel.
We're two friends from a small town in Finland who started making the t-shirts we always wished existed but could never actually find. That's pretty much the whole origin story. No business school pitch deck. No five-year plan written on a whiteboard. Just two people in 2026 who wanted better t-shirts and decided to do something about it.
What we make
Cotton Cartel is built around one simple rule: would we wear this? If the answer's no, it doesn't make the cut.
Right now, that means high-quality cotton t-shirts in classic fit and box fit, plus sweatshirts and hoodies for when Finnish weather does its thing (which is often). We focus on cotton because it feels good, lasts, and doesn't pretend to be something it isn't. Same energy we're going for with the brand, honestly.
Our designs are a mix, some clean and minimal, some a little weirder, some inside jokes that maybe only make sense to us until they make sense to you too. We're not trying to fit one aesthetic. We rope in friends and family whenever we're working on something new, bouncing ideas around the living room and asking "is this cool or is this terrible?" Every drop is kind of a group project.
How it actually works
We're print-on-demand, which means nothing gets made until you order it. No giant warehouses full of unsold shirts. No "end of season" piles destined for landfill. Just the thing you wanted, made when you wanted it.
Is it a little slower than fast fashion? Yeah. But we'd rather you wait a few extra days for something made on purpose than contribute to the mountain of clothes the world already throws away every year. Small town, small footprint, small ego — that's the vibe.
